1. For entering channel use /join #channame

/join #netpal and you have joined #netpal channel.

If the channel is already registered, you are an ordinary user; if not, you will have OP; and you can register that channel (and you are then channel founder)

/chanserv register #channel <pass> <description>

2. To identify with channel pass type:

/chanserv identify #channel <pass>

3. Important users in channel are: founder, SOP, AOP i VOP. Founder is a person who owns a channel, SOP (super op) can add/remove AOPs on aop list, add/remove akick... AOP gets op status when enters a channel, and VOP gets + (voice). Channel founder must identify first, and then he can add users to SOP list:

/chanserv sop #channel add <nick>

Also he can delete users(s) from SOP list (del), delete all users from SOP list (wipe), see sop list (list) or he can delete expired nicks from list (clean). If founder wants to add/remove someone from aop/vop/sop list or to op/deop someone from his channel, he can be on channel, but he need not; but sop must be on channel and he must be opped.

4. Founder or SOP can in similar way add/delete nicks to AOP or VOP list:

/chanserv aop #channel add <nick>

or

/chanserv vop #channel add <nick>

Tip: use add, del, wipe, list or clean.

5. SOP or channel founder can add/delete nicks to AKICK list for channel; in that way akicked users get kick&ban. Difference between ban and akick - when you ban someone, he can not enter the channel, but if all users leave the channel ban list erases, and that users are no longer banned; but if some users are akicked they can't enter the channel even when channel is empty, beacuse akick list do not erases.

/chanserv akick #channel add <nick or hostmask>

Tip: use add, del, wipe ili list.

6. COUNT - counts how many users from AOP/SOP lists are on channel, and number of AKICKed users:

/chanserv count #channel

7. DEOP - deops someone from the channel:

/chanserv deop #channel <nick>

8. OP - ops someone in channel:

/chanserv op #channel <nick>

9. Invite - if one of channel modes is +i (invite), you must be invited to join the channel.

/chanserv invite #channel <nick>

10. Info - gives info about channel:

/chanserv info #channel

11. Founder can drop (unregister) channel:

13. set passwd - sets channel pass:

/chanserv set #kanal passwd <new pass>

14. set desc - sets channel description:

/chanserv set #channel desc <description>

15. set url - sets channel URL:

/chanserv set #channel url <url>

16. set restrict - if on, only AOP, SOP and
founder can enter the channel:

/chanserv set #channel restrict on/off

17. set ident - if on, nicks from aop/sop
lists must identify first to get op:

/chanserv set #kanal ident on/off

18. set opguard - if on, only nicks from aop/sop lists can be opped; if you try to give someone else op status, chanserv will deop him:

/chanserv set #channel opguard on/off

19. set topiclock

/chanserv set #channel keeptopic on/off

21. Why - what access level has certain nick on channel:

/chanserv why #channel <nick>

22. If you are banned from certain channel, you can unban yourself/all (you can't do this if you are an ordinary user in channel)

/chanserv unban #channel me/all

23. You can deop all ops on channel:

/chanserv mdeop #channel

24. You can kick all users on channel:

/chanserv mkick #channel

25. You can lock channel modes:

/chanserv set #channel mlock +<modes>

ex. if you want to lock channel modes that are only modes nt on type:

/chanserv set #channel mlock +nt-kli

26. Channel modes are the preferences of the channel. To set them type /mode #channel +<mode> (ex: /mode #channel +nt). You can set this modes in this way, but it is much easier to type /channel. Here are the modes:
