1. To register nick type: 2. When you next time want to use your nick, you must identify: /nickserv identify <password> 3. You can protect your nick with setting kill option; and then you have 60 sec to identify or you will be disconnected from server. If thief try to use your nick, he will not enter your nick pass, and he will be disconnected, and for next 2 mins Services Enforcement keeps it locked so you can not use it, unless you unlock it (with release command). /nickserv set kill on Tip: to use any of nickserv or chanserv commands, you must register your nick. 4. After you have registered your nick, you can drop it if you have reason for that (unregister it, so it becomes free again) /nickserv drop <nick> 5. If you want to connect to server, but it says that your nick is in use, a) maybe someone stole it, or b) it was a netsplit, so server still thinks that your nick is in use. In that case you have to ghost your nick (disconnect it from server): /nickserv ghost <nick> <password> 6. If someone tried to use your nick, and he did not know pass, and server disconnected him, Services Enforcement locks your nick, so you can not use it for 2 mins. In that case you can force server to release your nick before time of 2 mins: /nickserv release <nick> <password> 7. set url - sets URL for your nick /nickserv set url http://www.cafemontenegro.com 8. set noop - if on you can not be opped without your permission: /nickserv set noop on/off 9. set kill /nickserv set kill on/off 11. set showemail - sets whether or not your e-mail will be shown in info about your nick: /nickserv set showemail on/off 12. info - info about desired nick: /nickserv info <nick> 13. access - you can set access list for your nick, and in that case you set domains from which you can access your nick. But when you connect to server, and you have access list, nickserv will check whether or not your ip is in access list, and if it is, you can use your nick, if not, you can not. But, if in that case server will not ask you for your pass, so it is better /nickserv access add <hostmask> To see your access lists tupe: /msg nickserv access list You can delete all your access lists (ex. if you change your internet provider) /nickserv access wipe or you can delete some of them: /nickserv access del <hostmask> 14.
