1. Sending a Memo

Before sending a memo, you must make sure that both nicks, the sender's and the receiver's, are registered.  Memos have limits of 350 characters (349 letters + 1 end character).  To send a memo type:

/memoserv send <nick> <memo>
    Ex. /memoserv send Death`Angel This net Rocks!!!

2. Listing memos that are in your box

This allows you to list all the memos in your box, refer to II.2 'Understanding memo flags' for an explanation. The command to list is:

/memoserv list

3.  Reading a memo

After getting the memo number from the 'list' command, you can read that memo by typing:

/memoserv read <#>
 
Ex /memoserv read 2

4. Deleting a memo

If you wish to delete a memo, which can then be cleaned from you box, type:

To mark all memos in your memobox as deleted, type:
  
/MemoServ delete all

To mark all previously read memos as deleted, type:
/MemoServ delete read

5. Cleaning your memobox

Once a memo has been deleted, it still needs to be cleaned from your box. This is to ensure that you don't erase a memo by mistake. Clean will erase all memos which have been marked as deleted. The commands is:

/memoserv clean

6. Forwarding

'Forward' will automatically send all memos to the memobox of the designated nick, much like the post office forwards mail to a new address.You must know the password of the nickname you wish to forward to.

/memoserv forward <nick> <password>

and to turn off auto-forwarding:

/memoserv forward
(no nick)

7. Unsending

"Unsend" allows a user to remove an unread memo he or she has sent from someone's memobox. To retrieve a list of  unsendable memos,
type:

/memoserv unsend

and to unsend a specific memo, type:

/memoserv unsend <#>
